For some reason like business purpose, trading purpose, privacy, etc ,  we need more than one Yahoo ID for chatting in Yahoo messenger. Because of that, I will tell u one secret how to have more than one ID/username with only one yahoo account.

First, we need login to your yahoo account . Go to www.yahoo.com then click "sign in" . Then login page will appear. Enter your username and password to login.




After login success, the page will be redirected to yahoo home page. At the right top of page, u will see "Hi,your username" text. Just click it, and the menu will show up, then select "Account info".


After you click "Account Info" menu, the page will be redirected to Yahoo Account Info page. Just scroll down the page until you find "Manage your Yahoo! aliases", then click it.




Ok, now we are in Manage Yahoo Alias page. To add your new Yahoo ID, just click "Add an alias", then enter your new alias,and click save. (note: not any username/id you can use,  username/id you can use only names that have not been used by others.

After success adding your new ID, now try it. Open your Yahoo Messenger and login using your new ID, and for the password just the same with your Yahoo Account password.
The meaning is your new username and main username have a same link to one Yahoo account,  so even though you login as main username, u still can receive message from other people which send message to your new username/ID.

Example :
Your Yahoo main ID : helloWorld01
Yahoo Alias 1 : helloSky
Yahoo Alias 2 : helloSea
Now you login as 'helloSky', someone send a message to 'helloSea', the message will show up although you login as 'helloSky' or 'helloWorld01'.
